Upon arrival, we will familiarize you with the houseboat and with the controls, equipment and accessories. Our staff hand over the houseboat clean and ready for arrival. The houseboat is delivered with a full drinking water tank, a full gas bottle and an empty waste water tank.

Liberty 4 Go charges a mandatory cleaning fee of 75.00 per houseboat rented from Liberty 4 Go. With this we ensure that you are received in a professionally cleaned accommodation.

Rules for leaving your accommodation correctly:

  • The refrigerator must be empty
  • Garbage must be removed from your accommodation
  • The crockery and kitchen utensils must be clean in the appropriate cupboards

Liberty 4 Go takes care of cleaning the sleeping areas and living space. You are therefore not obliged to sweep and mop the accommodation.

Our houseboats are furnished like a well-appointed residence. The houseboats contain sleeping places, a bathroom, a toilet and a small kitchen. The boats are equipped with a shower with hot water supply and two bedrooms. The houseboats also have the extras that are useful for a comfortable boat holiday: plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, cleaning products, garbage bags and the necessary safety equipment.

To reserve

The price depends on the accommodation, the length of stay and optional extras that you can book. You can already book a Liberty 4 Go Houseboat from 180,- per night.

You must book a minimum of 2 nights to stay on one of our houseboats.

The Liberty 4 Go sloop can be rented in days.

If you have different wishes, you can ask us about the possibilities via our contact form.

After your online reservation you will receive a reservation confirmation at the email address you have provided. The reservation is taken into option and checked. When this has been approved, you will be provided with more information and you will receive, also by e-mail, the rental agreement and the invoice. This can be paid online.

Hell yes! Liberty 4 Go offers gift vouchers up to 500,-. You can give your partner, your parents, your friends or anyone else a great gift!

Our gift vouchers are available in several gift packaging.

The gift voucher is not personal and can be transferred.

Reservations can be canceled free of charge up to 21 days before your arrival day. Any refundable amount will be transferred within 10 working days. With our cancellation insurance you pay 5% of the travel sum and you limit a number of risks. For more information, see our general terms and conditions.

Yes, you can bring your pet. For this extra option, 50,- per reservation will be charged. Please note this in the comments during booking and we will adjust this on your booking confirmation.

If damage is caused by pets, this will be recovered from the tenant.

Houseboat

Our houseboats are furnished like a well-furnished residence. The houseboats contain sleeping places, a bathroom, a toilet and a small kitchen. The boats are equipped with a shower with hot water and two bedrooms. The houseboats also have the extras that are useful for a comfortable boating holiday: plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, cleaning products, garbage bags and the necessary safety equipment.

There is gas on board. The stove and hot air heating work on gas. There is a gas cylinder with 11 kg on board. A bio-ethanol wall fireplace is also available.

Yes there is a fridge on board in the kitchen. It is a small fridge with built-in freezer compartment. We recommend bringing only a few perishable foods.

Yes, there is a water supply on board our housboats. A fresh water tank (not drinking water) with a capacity of approximately 400 litres, depending on the boat type. This fresh water can be used for cooking or washing. The ‘range’ of the freshwater tank is highly dependent on your usage habits. If you need extra fresh water in between, you can top it up at the nearest marina. Just like abroad, you should bring your own drinking water.

To flush the toilet, water is drawn from the river. All waste water is collected in a waste water tank (approximately 400 liters) and is pumped out after your trip.

Yes there is a power supply on the houseboats. The lighting on board works with 12 volt LED lighting. The 12 volt battery is charged by the motor and a solar cell on the roof.

230 volts is available for the shore power connection via a socket in the kitchen, for example to charge a laptop. The use of appliances with a voltage of 230 volts is only possible when there is a shore connection, such as the use of ‘heavy’ electrical appliances, such as a hair dryer, toaster or coffee machine.

A USB port on the radio is available for charging mobile phones.

The houseboats have bedrooms. The Liberty 4 Go 400 has two bedrooms with a double bed in one bedroom and a bunk bed in the other bedroom. The boat also has a sofa bed in the living room, which can be prepared for two extra sleeping places.

Yes there is toilet paper available, the toilet paper is provided by Liberty 4 Go and you may not bring your own. This toilet paper is self-dissolving, so the toilet does not get clogged.

Our home port De Spaanjerd is equipped with free wireless internet (wifi). Wi-Fi is available in almost all ports in the region, which you can use for free or for a small fee.

In our houseboars there are bathrooms with a hot water shower.

In addition, in our home port De Spaanjerd you will find sanitary facilities – including showers – that you can use free of charge. There are sanitary facilities with showers in almost every port in the Meuse Valley region, which you can use for a small fee.

Liberty 4 Go is responsible for cleaning the sleeping areas and the living space. You are therefore not obliged to sweep and mop the accommodation.

The houseboats of Liberty 4 Go are all-risk and third-party insured. The tenant’s own risk is € 500. In case of damage, the tenant is liable up to the amount of the deductible. The tenant is fully liable for damage caused by willful or gross negligence (drunkenness, etc.).

Arrival

The Liberty 4 Go houseboats are located in Jachthaven De Spaanjerd, in Kinrooi (Belgium): 3 km from the historic white town of Thorn, 15 km from Roermond, 35 minutes from Maastricht, 40 minutes from Eindhoven and 45 minutes from Mönchengladbach.

There is a closed car park at the marina of Jachthaven de Spaanjerd. Parking is +- 2,- per day. Four charging stations have recently been installed to charge an electric car.

According to the rental agreement, the check-in takes place between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM on the day of arrival. Check-out must take place between 07:00 and 10:00. Both take place at the Liberty4Go jetties.

The check-in of the houseboat takes place according to the rental agreement after 3 p.m. on the day of arrival.

This may depend on the occupation of the houseboats and the capacity of the cleaning crew.

Departure

The houseboat must be handed over to the Liberty 4 Go staff at the agreed time with clean crockery and an empty trash can.

On departure, Liberty 4 Go personnel check the condition of the houseboat, outboard engine equipment and check the completeness of the inventory using the checklist.

It would be nice if the waste could be separated. In De Spaanjerd Marina there are waste stations where you can hand in your waste separately, including; glass, paper, plastic and residual waste.
